Man, time flies and I've become lousy at regularly updating my blog. So, I'm stealing away these next 5 minutes while Veggie Tales teach my children some good Sunday virtue and a silly song to record the latest with each of them.
Noah:
He's become obsessed with Legos and earning money to purchase said over-priced treasures. He wants to do chores and earn money. He wants to cut up pictures of Legos from the propaganda material they include to make a "poster" and wants to sell that to you, too. Only $10 he says! Okay, I'll give it to you for $8. How about $3? We settled for $3. I still feel I got ripped off, but I would have paid more for the entertainment all over again.
We were running late to church today because Moses was napping and I didn't want to wake him given his terrible night's sleep last night, so Noah says to me in a huff about being late for church and not at all happy about that: "Who do you love more, Jesus or Moses?" (there was clearly a right answer in his mind...)
He's big on playing board games, doing ninja training, exercising, climbing the walls, talking boy potty talk all the time (boo), building legos, and school.
Moses: more personality comes out every day. Also, he's finally got two more teeth breaking through on the bottom, where two little ones in the front have been the only ones there for 5 months! yeppie! He is obsessed with looking at pictures on my iphone and thinks that it is his. It drives him crazy when i actually talk on it and not let him look at pics. There's a bit of ownership envy going on here, truly.
He also is a head-banger. When he gets mad, or when I put him down, or won't give him whatever it is he wants (see above iphone for example), he will dropdown and bang his head on whatever is close - a wall, the floor, the couch, a pillow, etc. Sometimes he is smart and will walk upset to the other side of the room to the carpeted end and then drop down and head-bang on a softer surface. sometimes not.
He loves being chased. He loves shaking his head no and will just point and say "uh" until by deduction we're able to nail what it is that he is after...sometimes that can take a while...sometimes we get lucky! He loves playing on pianos and continues to rock out to music when we play it.
